For the third time in two years — and the second in winter — my friend Josh and I backpacked about 30 miles of the Black Forest Trail in Tiadaghton State Forest, Slate Run, Pa. This wretched (yet beautiful) trail has become our Odyssey. You don’t get to see the backtracking, but trust me there was too much of it. Enjoy the sites of winter in the Black Forest.
Slate Run my favorite place to fly fish and good ldge for beers!
