My sons alternate between excited and slightly put-out when I tell them we’re going for a hike. For my oldest, it obviously cuts into video game and Sponge Bob time, but usually he’s enthusiastic.

Last week, we went for a short hike on the Appalachian Trail from Pine Grove Furnace State Park to Sunset Rocks and back. Here’s a slide show of our hike.

It was a Good Friday no matter how you slice it.
